In order to strengthen the country's development in the field of digital transformation, supporting the initiative of the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development (VARAM), the Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision on August 20 of this year to reorganize the State Regional Development Agency (VRAA) and rename it to the State Digital Development Agency.

The purpose of the institution's reorganization is to ensure its strategic focus on the implementation of the digital transformation policy in three directions: offering convenient public administration digital services, increasing the efficiency of the administration's work, and sustainable use of information and communication technologies.
